Welcome to La Choza Day Spa. ‘La choza’ means ‘little hut’, a peaceful and relaxing sanctuary where you’re welcomed and treated like you belong. We are a mother-daughter duo that has grown and evolved over our 19 years in business. Committed to offering a unique, personalized experience, we want you to feel valued, refreshed and renewed.
My name is Angelica Carr I am certified esthetician, cosmetologist, nail technician, and massage therapist. I opened on my own in 2004, when my daughter Kirstin was just 14. “As a single mom, I knew how important that one hour at the spa can be. I really wanted to offer something different than your typical spa. I wanted it to be personal. A truly customized experience for each individual.
My daughter Kirstin McCoy started as a receptionist working evenings during high school and on the weekends. She is a now a full time certified esthetician, cosmetologist, nail technician, and massage therapist. We work alongside offering the same well rounded personal experience.
Over the years, we’ve added to the team and our La Choza family has grown.
“They are not just clients, they're family. They stuck with us our entire journey. Along the way, we’ve cried and laughed together, and cherished the up and downs of life. This is not a day spa, this is a community.”
We invite you to come in and experience the magic of our little hut yourself.
